We found in Athena Montessori the best place for our daughter to be safe and happy! She learned so many things, played so much and made a lot of new friends!

We had our daughter Raven in the Athena Montessori Program from age 2.5 until kindergarten, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Ms. Dumi and Ms. Maria were amazing teachers—so caring, patient, and dedicated to making sure Raven was always happy and supported. All of the teachers we met were nurturing and genuinely committed to each child’s growth.

What stood out most to us was how they encouraged independence while still providing gentle guidance and structure. Raven grew in confidence, curiosity, and developed a real love for learning. She thrived not only academically but also socially and emotionally, showing so much growth in problem-solving, teamwork, and everyday life skills. She was honestly sad to leave after kindergarten!

The environment at Athena Montessori is welcoming, safe, and thoughtfully designed to spark creativity and exploration. We’re so grateful to have found this program and highly recommend it to any family looking for a strong foundation in both education and character development.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the years our son spent in Athena Montessori Children’s Program. From the very first day, it was clear that Mrs. H and her teachers don’t just teach children — they genuinely love them. Mrs. H refers to the kids in her program as “;her kids,” and that’s not just a figure of speech. She treats every child as if he or she were one of her own: with patience, warmth, and real personal investment in who they’re becoming.

What stood out most to us was how the small class sizes and Montessori approach came together to give our son exactly what he needed. He was met where he was — never rushed, never held back — and consistently challenged in ways that helped him grow in confidence and curiosity. Mrs. H and her teachers have a gift for noticing each child’s individual pace and interests, and building on them.

Beyond the core curriculum, Mrs. H goes above and beyond to enrich the children’s experience — regularly bringing in music and puppet shows that added so much joy and wonder to their days. These little touches made a real difference, and our son still talks about them.

Through it all, we always felt reassured that our son was in good hands. That peace of mind, as parents, is hard to put a price on. Thanks to Mrs. H’s guidance and care, our son is more than ready to take the next step into elementary school. We feel so fortunate to have found a preschool where the teachers show up not just with skill, but with heart. We recommend Mrs. H and her program without reservation.

We had our son in 2 daycare centers before we found Athena Montessori. Our son was bored and unstimulated in the prior centers, but has thrived under the care of Mrs. H. and her staff. We have been thrilled to see his growth in both social and academic skills, as well as general independence in self care. We are thankful to have found Mrs. H. and her school and will miss Athena Montessori when he starts kindergarten.

We are pleased with our son’s progress at Athena. He has learned so much from his teachers including numbers, writing, days of the week and months of the year. Most importantly, I know Mrs H (the owner) deeply cares about ‘her’ kids.
